Responsibilities
• Mentor , coach, and guide project managers and business analysts’ detailed work, providing direction to stay aligned with the program’s intent and Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) guidelines
• Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions and enforcing standards and procedures
• Lead and direct the work of project managers, business analysts and team members in a matrix, cross-organizational teams
• Provide expert level guidance to project managers, business analysts, and team members during the definition and execution of project requirements and documentation
• Manage and build relationships with executives and key decision makers from project inception to post-deployment while simultaneously ensuring customer satisfaction and business value
• Effectively manage the collaboration and relationships with the business, technical and vendor teams involved in projects and programs
• Estimate program efforts, costs, and risks supporting Sponsors and Stakeholders to make informed business decisions
• Implement, embed and facilitate effective decision-making processes at all levels of the program organization structure
• Simultaneously manage multiple projects within the treasury and shared services verticals
• Plan and manage project schedules, project resources/utilization, budgets/forecasts, and project success criteria
• Describe and evangelize programs organization-wide to interested and affected groups at audience-appropriate level of detail
• Monitors and manages plan effectively, facilitating communication and coordination between groups, removing roadblocks and setting expectations
• Identify project inter-dependencies including risks and mitigation plans throughout the program, so issues can be avoided altogether or resolved expeditiously
• Ability to apply best practice project management methodologies for delivering engagements on-time, on-budget, and to specification
• Establish and maintain relationship with program Sponsors and Stakeholders throughout programs to open communication channels that allow for feedback and rapid response
• Communicate complex program status to Executive Sponsors and Stakeholders, in a manner that enables them to have a common understanding of the program’s value and progress toward the outlined business objectives
• Comprehend overall program scope and dependencies and align individual project deliverables and plans to achieve results
• Develop and deliver best practice project management capabilities aligning to TCB PMO Strategy - Processes and procedures will encompass delivering projects on-time, on-budget, and within the defined scope
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Banking/Financial Services experience required
• 5+ years’ experience in leading and directly managing a Delivery group required
• 10+ years of program/project management experience (project planning, project controls/monitoring, budget management, building stakeholder relationships, managing complex integrations and dependencies, risk management) required
• PMP certification is a plus
• Consulting background strongly preferred
• Proven history achieving results through effectively leading cross-functional teams of IT, business and vendor team members required
• Outstanding verbal presentation and written communication skills required
• Excellent executive presentation skills required
• Ability to assess organizational capabilities and incorporate organizational change readiness methods into the program planning and execution processes
• Ability to be influential and establish positive working relationships across all levels of the organization from individual contributor to C-suite executives
• Program Management capabilities across multiple project types such as business Process Reengineering, Strategy Transformation, Vendor Integration, SDLC (waterfall and agile methodologies) projects required
• Ability to prioritize work for self and program stakeholders based on corporate strategy, roadmap and goals
• Ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills required
• Proficient in the use of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project and MS Visio for reports, analysis, and presentations required
• Experience using Daptiv (ChangePoint) is a plus
