Summer 2018 Paid Internship
Zions Bank's Business Resource Center, a division of the Retail Banking Administration group, provides the Utah business community with resources to start or grow small businesses including: devising business plans, offering advice in financing new businesses and providing networking seminars.
The intern will work alongside the Business Resource Director to assist with marketing, communications and research as well as writing a monthly newsletter. Other duties could include reviewing business plans, teaching and managing seminars, and meeting with community leaders, business bankers and business owners.
Qualifications
• Currently working toward a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or other related degree.
• Must have excellent communication and computer skills.
• Ability to understand a broad perspective of issues related to any type of business.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good analytical, organizational and problem resolution skills.
• Comfortable with MS Office programs.
• Knowledge or interest of banking products and services, strategic planning, and business development helpful.
• Experience with public speaking is a plus.
• Comfortable in a client facing role.
