Macquarie Investment Management seeks highly motivated individual with strong database and .NET development skills to join a small multi-disciplined digital team as a Sitecore .NET Developer. This hands-on strategic position provides the opportunity to deliver software solutions and will enable the right candidate to contribute significantly to the success of a highly visible global digital initiative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with team members to convert HTML5 and CSS3 designs into Sitecore layouts and sub-layouts
• Create a dynamic experience based on audience and location with heavy emphasis on Sitecore’s Personalization and Profiles features
• Gather requirements from stakeholders, and write functional and technical specifications
• Develop and enhance software based on business requirements
• Develop software based on conceptual and technical designs; define and conduct unit testing
• Collaborate effectively within a global IT environment across multiple divisions
• Act as a catalyst for the local team to build skills outside of the current technological footprint
• Work as a technical lead, research new technologies and methodologies
Experience and Skills:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in information technology as an application developer
• Expert level proficiency with C# and ASP.NET
• Proven experience developing with Sitecore, Sitecore-certified is a must
• Proven ability to manage diverse client and stakeholder relationships and to collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Proven problem solving skills and the ability to independently debug and diagnose problems
• Proficiency with relational database design and SQL programming in SQL Server or Sybase
• Proficiency with XLST and XPath
• Understanding and experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding and experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as AngularJS, ReactJS, or jQuery
• Experience with search solutions is a plus
• Excellent understanding of project methodologies such as SDLC, Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.
• Excellent understanding of messaging protocols such as SOAP, REST, MQ Series, FIX, SWIFT
• Ability to work on multiple projects, manage user expectations and complete work requests within the stated or expected deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic SFDC admin qualification, Visualforce, Apex or equivalent experience a plus
• Experience with AWS a plus
• Foreign Language skills a plus
• Bachelor's Degree Required. Preferred majors: Computer Science or related field
