Description
• FINRA supervision of complex suitability review including sales to seniors, switches, replacements, breakpoints, and Variable Annuity transactions.
• Suitability review conducted by the Principal includes the review of the clients age, risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs, investment objectives, and investment purpose in order to make the independent decision to approve/discrepancy/reject a transaction.
• Reviews and independently approves/discrepancy/reject the sales of Financial Consultants ensuring they are adhering to the firm and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Researches and resolves complex discrepancies relating to the client accounts and trade inquiries.
• Makes independent decisions on whether or not to approve client trades submitted by Financial Consultants based on the documentation and rationale received.
• Work closely with Compliance, Operations, and the Sales team throughout the review process.
• Manage the risks associated with transaction and exception approvals in order to limit liability, risk, and financial loss to the firm.
• Perform call outs to clients to confirm transaction details, understanding of the transaction, and to confirm suitability of the transaction for high risk transactions.
Qualifications
• 1-3 years experience in securities sales, sales management, operations or compliance
• Attention to detail
• Ability to analyze difficult situations in a high risk environment
• In depth knowledge of the securities industry, rules, regulations, and sales practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent decision making skills
• Good technology skills
• Previous experience with annuities
• Previous experience with managed money
• Previous experience with structured products
• Bachelors degree
• FINRA licenses 7, 24, 63 and 65/66; 53 within 6 months of hire

Hours per Week: Monday-Friday
