Key Responsibilities
The individual will be responsible for key areas that include, but are not limited to:
• Ensuring that the development process is being demonstrably followed
• Sign off business requirements for completeness and that test cases and be completely written based form the document.
• Ensure that Project Process are followed
• Liaison with Development, QA and the Business
• Ability to create exhaustive set of test cases from requirements documents
• Support the development of business requirements
• Peer Review and sign off of UAT Test Plans and Scripts written by UAT Analysts
• Execution of UAT Test Scripts
• Production of Execution Reports
• Lead the writing of procedures and provide training to user for projects worked on
• Represent Operations Change Management on smaller projects from initialisation phase right through to implementation.
Candidate Profile / Key Skills
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
• Excellent communication skills allowing an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within the company and with external clients/suppliers
• Extensive experience of defining test plans, test cases and execution
• Excellent knowledge of financial markets – Fixed Income and Equities especially
• Commercial experience implementing projects within a financial institution
• Good attention to detail is essential
• Must be able to work under pressure and prioritise conflicting tasks to complete
them in the most effective way and the work of other UAT analysts within the team
• Ability to relate to commercial as well as technical staff at all levels within FTSE Russell is important
