Position Summary
The Document Compliance Testing Analyst plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of tasks related to the department’s document and system compliance functions. The role is primarily responsible, under intermittent direction, for providing the means and the measures for testing all aspects of document and system compliance, both functionally and technically; as well as, utilizing regulatory compliance expertise to ensure alignment to Guild’s objectives are carried out successfully.
Essential Functions
• Collaborate with Document Compliance Analysts, Senior Analysts, Business Analysts and programmers to test internal service requests.
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plans.
• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts (test data, data validation, harness scripts, and automated scripts).
• Stay apprised and utilize project management in order to track testing efforts for larger projects.
• Review higher level testing performed by the Document Compliance Analysts to ensure all testing is well defined, planned, and executed.
• Execute live testing on test loans in the production system to recreate reported issues from the field and determine the best course of action.
• Perform consistent regression testing of Guild’s system and our external vendors to ensure no adverse impacts, including (but not limited to) after roll-outs (to include manual and/or automated testing).
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Ensure alignment to Guild’s Regulatory Compliance objectives are carried out successfully.
• Identify, oversee and resolve (when applicable) bug(s)/issue(s) by tracking and monitoring trends.
• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test both findings and results to programmers.
• Utilize Regulatory Compliance expertise to identify, resolve/escalate potential quality issues per defined process, ensuring corrections are complete before the programming goes live.
• Determine/recognize potential high risk/concerns/matters and escalate to department management accordingly.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience, preferably in positions in Business, Technology, etc. is preferred, along with three years work experience in positions that developed in depth knowledge of internal systems along with managing projects, working with programmers to test and validate systems, and creating test scripts.
• Proficient knowledge in Excel required, preferred advanced knowledge of Excel, as well as experience with project management software, flow chart software and bug trackers (JIRA).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word required.
• Ability to think critically, including the ability to evaluate facts and data to draw conclusions, determine the downstream impact of decisions and associated risks.
• Ability to create clear, concise, and detail-oriented test plans/cases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong detail orientation and highly organized.
• Intermediate to advanced math skills.
• Exercise sound judgment, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
• Manage multiple priorities, may manage or work on team projects that involve coordinating work across other departments, meeting deadlines.
• Prior experience using PDF software programs preferred.
• Ability to work in a paperless environment.

Requirements
Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.
Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.
Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio; e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.
Environmental: Office environment – no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
