Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Years of Experience: 8
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Certification(s) Required: Certified Public Accountant, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar
Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates proven intimate knowledge of, and/or success in roles directing, compliance and consulting for investment partnerships, including hedge funds, mutual funds and private equity funds, with emphases in the following areas:
• Funds structuring and fund management companies to limit optimally tax liability, and
• Alternate investment strategies and vehicles.
Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates proven intimate abilities and technical tax and accounting skills, including partnership tax Forms, including K1 and M1.
Demonstrates proven intimate abilities and success with identifying and addressing client needs, including developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection.
Demonstrates proven intimate abilities and success as a team leader, including leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation
