The Global Finance Group partners with other Capital Group departments to proactively provide relevant, timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis, innovative solutions and other insightful information that impacts business decision-making while protecting company interests.
As a Financial Analyst based in Irvine, CA, you will provide a customer-centric, business-focused approach to a variety of reporting needs, analyses, and planning activities.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparation and delivery of actionable financial reporting and analysis to support business operations and decisions
• Develop an understanding of business operations and key drivers and apply that understanding accordingly to prepare and create business models
• Collaborate with business partners, including senior business leaders to provide key financial insights
• Participates in ad-hoc projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance required; CPA and/or MBA is preferred
• 5-10 years of experience in accounting, finance or a related function required
• Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality involving accuracy, attention to detail, organization and self-review skills, thoughtful analysis and problem-solving, effective collaborating skills and accountability for excellent results
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and analytical skills in areas of high complexity, ambiguity and diversity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel
