VP of Marketing, Non-Retail
Job summary
• Close interaction with Divisional, Regional and Market Sales Leaders in the areas of strategy development, tactical implementation of programs/initiatives and acting as a trusted advisor to Caliber's Wholesale and Correspondent sales managers
• Senior Marketing lead for Caliber's Recapture efforts, interacting closely with the Head of Recapture and Head of Operational services supporting all Recapture initiatives
• Provide marketing expertise, a deep appreciation for creatively supporting the sales culture of Caliber and a willingness to act as coach, resource, and advisor to ensure business success
• Mentor direct reports, ensuring that each individual has challenging yet achievable goals, is continually developing personal and professional skills and is focused on being the best manager possible
• Lead marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term range strategies and issues; oversee planning, development, and execution
• Develop effective marketing plans and programs for Caliber's product through consumer insight and communication strategies
• Ensure the organization's message is distributed across channels and to targeted audiences in order to meet sales objectives; generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing for the entire organization
• Provide market forecast and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation; influence strategic direction after evaluating and determining current and future market trends
• Establish and maintain the cadence, team culture, and quality expectations complementary to that of the organization
• Establish and maintain a philosophy of transparency into the performance of the marketing team
• Establish and maintain a strategy for attracting and retaining top talent and building a cohesive team to drive real results
• Strong background in leading data-driven 'consumer nurture' experience through A/B testing, e-mail marketing, digital marketing, and marketing tool expertise
Qualifications
The ideal executive will have the following:
• A deep understanding of marketing and sales strategy/tactics with a successful background in distributed sales marketing
• Mortgage industry experience, preferably at a top ten originator of mortgages
• MBA preferred, but not mandatory
• Strong working knowledge of social media and digital marketing with an emphasis on delivering quantifiable results from initiatives
• Strong creativity that is rooted in successfully delivering against goals
• A sense of purpose, a proactive outlook and a willingness to be flexible to ensure success
• A professional yet approachable demeanor; the ability to get along well with many different constituents and share her/his expertise
• A positive outlook and the habit of looking at challenges as opportunities
