BGC Partners: Vice President, Senior Human Resources Generalist
We are a financial services firm with an excellent opportunity for a strong Human Resources Generalist to join a service driven team of human resources professionals.
Qualifications:
• Experience providing all functions of Human Resources as a strategic business partner to a fast-paced and changing organization
• Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong overall business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to quickly grasp business issues and understand business strategy
• Adept at working with management to influence/facilitate change, implement strategy and accomplish objectives
• Excellent project management skills
• The ability to work independently and to use good judgment in decision –making
• Strong analytical skills
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented individual who demonstrates a high level of accuracy
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced financial services environment
• Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
• 8+ years progressive HR experience with a foundation of knowledge in key HR disciplines in the financial services industry
• Strong communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• HRIS experience ; Oracle preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel a plus
• Compensation experience
• Strong employee relations background
• Knowledge of US Immigration laws
