Global Wealth Management Operations provides brokerage, investment and financial services to hundreds of thousands of individual investors. MS is expanding its deposit and lending services to serve the retail banking, private banking and commercial banking needs of WM clients. Private Banking Operations (PBO) is an organization that supports this effort. PBO is seeking a high quality Associate to be a part of our change management team that supports the private banking operations organization.
Description
The Private Bank Operations (PBO) Change the Bank team manages cross-divisional, cross-product, and firm-wide initiatives on behalf of Private Banking Operations and the Private Banking Group within Wealth Management. The role requires the candidate to contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle (Analyze, Design, Build, Test and Implementation).
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Participate in project scope and timeline definition, stakeholder management, and creation of communication plan
Develop project plans, define project task and resource requirements
Create power point presentations defining project progress, problems and solutions
Document and participate in status call with project stakeholders
Capture and manage project risks and issues - ensure effective escalation and closure
Document requirements, create workflows, conceptual prototypes, mock-ups and review with key stakeholders as necessary Work with cross-functional teams to ensure they are engaged for upcoming projects
Participate in test planning efforts, drive the design or review of test cases, traceability and process change request
Coordinate project go-live activities with product, technology and operations including - preparation of kick-off document, run-book, ensure appropriate approvals are in place to support deployment
Qualifications
Skills Required
Previous exposure to project work ( 2 to 5 years) is required
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, eager to learn, and able to manage conflicting priorities
Leadership abilities with the capable of setting direction and motivating team members outside the direct reporting line
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and a creative and flexible approach to problem solving
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work
Self-motivated and autonomous
Keen attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Capable of setting direction and motivating team members outside the direct reporting line
Strong time management skills ; performs the majority of day-to-day activities with minimal guidance and supervision
Fluency with all MS Office tools, including Power Point, Excel, Project, and Visio
Bachelors Degree
Skills Desired
PMP (Project Management Professional) certified or equivalent project management experience
Possess capability to write business and functional requirements, mapping process flows, creating test plans and performing testing in various environments
