Business Overview:
The Premises Data Management Reporting Specialist is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of data and reporting across all areas of Premises, including travel, space and facilities, physical records, corporate insurance and lease administration. The Data Management Reporting Specialist will work with key stakeholders to create a reporting strategy in order to maintain a robust reporting environment
Responsibilities:
Develop and publish reports and dashboards according to stakeholders’ requirements
• Develop a reporting strategy for Premises, including frequency of distribution, key elements and distribution of reports
• Lead and manage development, automation and publishing of key reports using various Premises systems and sources
• Develop, calculate and manage Key Activity Indicators with benchmarks and trends
• Develop and design complex dashboards on Tableau based on reports from various Premises systems and sources
• Analyse and interpret reporting trends to obtain actionable metrics and translate them into insightful data narrative
• Assist stakeholders in defining their reporting requirements to cover their needs
• Define appropriate solutions to meet stakeholder requirements
Maintain, oversee and refine the reporting activity
• Leverage internal data to identify operational efficiencies and work with department members to implement
• Coordinate with the department to set standards in reporting
• Maintain monthly and ad hoc reports and dashboards
• Create and maintain Premises systems reporting standards
• Work with Premises team to ensure integrity of data
• Adhere to reporting schedule for creation and distribution of reports to stakeholders
Oversee and maintain Premises internal and external SharePoint sites
• Collaborate with Premises team members on set up and enhancements to site
• Liaise with IT resources to expand functionalities of the site (reporting distribution, request workflows)
Minimum Required Qualifications
• Demonstrate ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with respective Premises team members, IT and business stakeholders
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively anticipate and identify business needs and recommend solutions to business problems
• Strong knowledge of Alteryx and Tableau Desktop Publishing
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Outstanding operational skills in addition to detailed oriented work
• Proactive in seeking information, challenging norms and driving efficiency
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• 4 - 5 years of experience in area where analysis and interpretation of data metrics are involved
• Use of data modelling, database programming and data access techniques and concepts
