Job Profile
• Leads the execution and management of the sales process and achievement of sales results. Focuses on sales and revenue growth, pricing and profitability of new business and client retention by delivering a best-in-class client experience.
• Participates in the development of, and actively manages the execution of, sales plans. Oversees new business efforts of sales professionals by conducting one-on-one coaching sessions, including review of pipelines and calling activities. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborates with sales professionals to identify skill-development opportunities and plans. Ensures business and sales acumen in the positioning of AMG products and capabilities.
• Maintains a high level of industry knowledge and understanding of the marketplace. Monitors and gathers insight on client preferences and client satisfaction. Provides recommendations to the executive leadership team on trends and strategies to improve revenue and profitability.
• Provides sales leadership by developing and implementing appropriate sales tactics and strategies. Ensures sales staff has the appropriate tools and resources.

• Knowledge of financial services industry trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations and trendsetters; ability to provide specific financial knowledge and experience to help organizational development.
SALES FUNCTION - Extensive Experience
• Knowledge of and the ability to conduct daily and strategic activities in an organization's sales function.
Selling. - Extensive Experience
• Applies knowledge of banking products and services to meet customer needs and enable them to achieve their financial goals. Identifies prospecting approaches to identify potential customers and create opportunities to sell financial solutions and ideas to customers.
Required Education and Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
