Job Description:
The Management Reporting Team is dedicated to analyzing and presenting information that assists Senior Management in executing day-to-day operations and developing a long term strategy for BAAM. This includes daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to both BAAM and Blackstone Senior Management as well as public company reporting requirements. The information that is analyzed and reported includes, among other things, revenues, AUM, investor inflows/outflows, loss carry forwards, and returns. This individual will play a significant role in operational transformation for the team, including outsourcing decisions, technology solutions and re-envisioning processes for the future..
Responsibilities:
• Developing and delivering forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis reports to drive optimization of business decision-making and planning
• Analyzing and presenting key financial data and relevant information to Senior Management to drive business performance and strategy
• Coordinating the collection and analysis of key metrics across multiple internal teams and external resources
• Implementing new processes/systems creating operational efficiencies and reporting enhancements
• Preparation and financial knowledge related to SEC reporting (10-Q and 10-K)
• Ongoing analysis and development of financial reporting for new products, industry trends and key quantifiers that assist Senior Management in determining profitability of products
• Conducting financial modeling and sensitivity analysis
• Performing in-depth reviews of the firm level expenses and identifying ways to improve operating efficiencies
• Supporting long- and short-term management strategy and plan
• Training, managing and mentoring junior team members
Qualifications:
Candidates should have 8 to 12 years of industry experience. Candidates should exhibit strong technical, analytical and leadership skills as well as exceptional communication skills. Candidates should be energetic, self-motivated, team-oriented individuals with fresh ideas and innovative solutions who thrive on challenge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The comparatively small size of this group offers an opportunity to liaise with various teams across the BAAM platform.
