We are currently seeking a Vice President of Production Support to join our Western U.S. Industrial Capital Markets Group based in our Century City Los Angeles office. This is not a broker role. This Group has geographic responsibility for the following states: California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, Nevada and Colorado. This position will oversee all aspects of the team functions including: RFP and transaction process for the group, review and approve all underwriting as well as manage the execution team, public relations, client & team events, and creatively push the team to be forward thinking and innovative.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Lead production support and execution team comprised of analysts, associates, graphic designers, ad agencies, and due diligence coordinator both in house and third party vendors
• Gather and evaluate economic, demographic and real estate market data for input into project specific deliverables
• Oversee and perform complex financial analyses with minimal supervision, including cash flow projections, valuation models, and sensitivity analyses
• Oversee and prepare monthly articles for newsletters and periodic research pieces for special events and presentations
• Prepare proposals and offering materials for new or existing assignments and pursuits utilizing effective work planning capabilities
• Assist with preparation of presentation and pitch materials for new business pursuits
• Oversee client and team events.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Real Estate, JD, or comparable degree
• Excellent academic credentials
• 5 – 7 years of work experience in Finance or Real Estate
• Proficiency and workplace experience in ARGUS (DCF and AE)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
• Advanced internet research capabilities
• Strong computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software is required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (applicant will need to submit previous work product)
• Ability to work independently and within a team on a wide variety of projects
• Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload
• Ability to reprioritize tasks on a daily basis given varying team requirements
• Advanced understanding of real estate fundamentals, economic metrics, research, and marketing process
• A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
