The Electronic Payments Product Director is responsible for developing and delivering electronic payments solutions for clients across Commercial Banking, Business Banking, and Global Corporate Banking. The Director develops and executes product strategies in conjunction with IT, Operations, and Sales partners, along with strategic third party providers.
• Develop and implement product strategies to ensure that business goals and objectives related to growth, risk management, cross selling, fee income and expense management are met
• Understand deeply the needs of our clients, and how our payments products drive value for them and deliver a product roadmap that is positioned favorably in the market
• Drive effective development of new products and improvements to existing products to serve the needs of our clients in a controlled environment, in alignment with IT and vendor partners
• Ensure client facing teams fully understand the value of our payments products and how to position them with clients
• Build a strong team through internal development and external hiring
• Align closely with Client Service & Onboarding to build and maintain a strong client experience
• Proactively manage all risks associated with payments products in conjunction with sales, IT, Operations, and Client Service partners

Qualifications
• 15+ years Treasury Management experience
• 10+ years payments experience
• Proven ability in building and managing a high performing team
• Proven experience managing relationships with IT, Operations, and front office executives
• Strong knowledge of US and international payments products, Emerging payment products including Real Time Payments, and blockchain-based payments products
• Strong knowledge of the market infrastructures that support payments products (eg, Federal regulators, NACHA, SWIFT, TCH, etc)
• Experience in deploying effective development methodologies
• Integration of payments into online, direct, and 3rd party channels, including Integrated Payables, Treasury Link payments, and AP automation tools
• Knowledge of online and direct access channels
