Real Estate Lending - IC2 Conducts research and analysis to support lenders and management with originating, underwriting, closing and monitoring of real estate loans. May be responsible for underwriting and closing smaller and less complex loans. Analyzes loan opportunities and assesses risk levels in support of real estate loan opportunities. Assists lenders and management with monitoring existing loan portfolios, underwriting, and with any ad-hoc research required. Works with existing clients and or clients for small, non-complex loans. Works with General Counsel on loan documentation. Assists with marketing and client presentation information/materials. Solves problems of a routine nature within the context of established policies and procedures. May resolve problems of a more unusual nature, under the guidance of more experienced staff. No direct reports. May provide guidance to more junior staff. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. MBA is preferred. 3-5 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in real estate lending or commercial banking preferred.
