Integrated Services for the Americas (ISA) plays an integral role in MUFG Americas’ success and is comprised of the technology, operations and process excellence, information security, and project management functions for MUFG Americas.
The VP, Employee Engagement, ISA will ensure a highly engaged workforce which supports retention, advancement and high performance as well as creating meaningful experiences for employees. Responsible for leading the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives and ensuring alignment with ISA strategy. Accountable for the program's strategic development, management and maintenance and continuous improvement. This role will partner closely with Human Resources and Corporate Communications as well the senior leaders in the Business Line.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Develop and execute plans with ISA leadership to improve employee experience based on workforce requirements and location
• Coordinate Global Employee Engagement survey and support LOBs action teams to determine necessary actions required as a result of survey scores
• Coordinate ISA-wide employee recognition programs utilizing enterprise programs as well as ISA specific initiatives
• Create a calendar of employee events and activities to build engagement; manage ISA participation in enterprise engagement initiatives (i.e. Employee Appreciation Day and Take Our Daughters & Sons to Work Day)
• Handle all aspects of ISA events, including vendor coordination, location and layout, etc.
• Develop communication and promotion plans for ISA events in conjunction with Corporate Communications
• Support selected nonprofits through volunteer events and promotion of employee contributions. Ensure focus on select few initiatives to ensure significant impact.
• Partner with Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Events to ensure ISA participation and sponsorship of key enterprise events
• Review and monitor program metrics to assess success and measurable progress against strategy and plan.
• Ensure buy-in and agreement at all levels of the organization
Qualifications
• 5-7 plus years of direct experience in employee engagement projects/ area , communications or senior level work as well as experience in project management for large scale projects.
• Advanced presentation skills, oral and written communication skills and advanced analytical skills.
• Ability to effectively interact with peers and all levels of staff and management. Excellent organization, problem solving, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to influence and motivate individuals and teams.
