Job Description:
• Design and execute strategies for new profitable business from current and prospective treasury management clients
• Ensure the treasury management customer value proposition is adhered to and lived daily by every sales colleague
• Align activities of the sales function to drive treasury management strategic initiatives
• Build purposeful and effective internal relationships across the bank's business units
• Help non-treasury leadership understand and recognize treasury management cross selling/referral opportunities
• Take ownership of segment client issues and leverage the appropriate resources to uncover results
• Maintain depth of knowledge of all treasury management products and services; partner with product, pricing, risk, technology and other team members to design and develop innovative product and service offerings
• Provide leadership, coaching and development to the treasury sales team; monitor staff performance, provide appropriate coaching, recognition and feedback
• Provide feedback to product managers and maintain strong working relationships with all Huntington lines of business
• Support team members in cultivating larger prospect relationships that are regional/national in scope
• Develop strategies to drive key segment growth; monitor and analyze performance indicators to evaluate execution of strategic growth goals
• Develop clear engagement principles to ensure effective resource allocation
• Comply with and stay abreast of all applicable policies and procedures, federal and state laws
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• 15+ years of experience in treasury services, financial services or related business experience
Preferred Requirements:
• Master of Business Administration or Master of Arts in relevant field preferred
• Extensive experience and demonstrable success managing a geographically distributed sales team
• Strong coaching, motivation and leadership skills; ability to recruit, train and develop teams
• Ability to develop, drive, and articulate strategy and vision for a sales team
• Highly effective communicator, collaborator and influencer with all levels of an organization
