POSITION SUMMARY
Manager of Infrastructure Hardening is responsible for the management remediation of infrastructure cyber security threats. He/she acts as a SWAT team leader to triage and resolve current and future issues across BBH technology platforms. This position works closely with CTO, Risk, Audit, Development, and Infrastructure teams to prioritize and action threat remediation.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ultimately responsible for driving process and resolution of Infrastructure Hardening SWAT initiatives, including working with internal stakeholders across multiple channels
• Manage vendor engagements to perform evaluation and remediation of issues
• Provide cyber security subject matter expertise specifically related to technology infrastructure, including IBM mainframe security hardening
• Prioritize and manage remediation activities with overall infrastructure strategic plans
• Lead efforts to analyze and prioritize urgent production issues, including driving root cause analysis and remediation
• Facilitate issue resolution with Infrastructure, CTO, Risk, Audit, Development to define solutions in line with firm and industry best practices and standards.
• Support the systems teams for estimates, analysis, design, development, performance, scalability and providing subject matter expertise in security hardening
• Participate in resource planning
• Create project plans and process improvements
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects, including budget management
• Lead initiative to create a 3-5 year infrastructure roadmap
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• BS/BA degree in Finance and/or Computer Science or related work experience required
• Must have at least 12+ years of experience in technology infrastructure with a focus on financial services
• Experience managing external vendors
• Strong knowledge of cyber security evaluation and remediation
• Proactive and results-oriented
• Collaborative and objective approach to problem solving
• Ability to work in high energy and visible environments
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and with clarity, with ability to negotiate
• Consultative and advisory skills with ability to work and communicate professionally with internal and external clients
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Experience developing and delivering presentations
