Overview
Purpose of the Team
The Global Business Services Center Service Management team acts as an internal consultant supporting the Share Services Organization through support of key initiatives by providing for project leadership, oversight and strategic guidance. The team is built upon built upon strong contributors with leadership abilities, consulting mindsets and strong project management skills.
The primary responsibility will be the support of financial processes and analysis for the Global Business Services Center. This position will involve a high level of collaboration with Global Business Services Center leadership and will require an individual who is able to effectively prepare, package and deliver a set of information to leadership. Strong communication skills are a must.
Role
• Responsible for a broad range of finance related responsibilities and acts as a finance generalist for the shared services center
• Develops analytical resources and capabilities to measure the cost and ROI of services within the center
• Provide for project leadership on key initiatives related to shared services
• Responsible for identifying and analyzing service delivery options and making recommendations as to the impact on the organizations capabilities and services portfolio.
• Oversees vendor management for GBSC services and ensures service delivery goals are met
• Responsible for capacity management analysis inclusive of efficiency tracking across the center
• Leverage benchmarking processes to assess the performance of shared services functions
• Lead and support program reporting by preparing financial summaries for quarterly and/or bi-annual leadership meetings.
• Develop and maintain financial performance reporting related to shared services functions
• Support the development of and monitoring of shared services business cases.
• Responsible for supporting the regular planning cycle inclusive of required budgets and forecasts through completion of required schedules and inputs necessary to satisfy the planning deliverables
• Responsible for supporting procurement and contractual processes as it relates to relationships with third party providers supplementing services of the Global Business Services Center.
• Responsible for ad hoc financial analysis as requested by leadership.
All About You
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills required – with the ability to effectively communication & develop strong relationships within a multinational organization
• Experience in shared services or as part of large scale transformation initiatives
• Strong Finance process knowledge a must
• Demonstrated project management leadership in complex situations and is viewed as a credible subject matter expert to all levels of senior management.
• Experience consulting and providing advice and feedback to the business on risk and opportunity considerations, leveraging advanced analytical techniques as well as outside trends and events
