Job Summary:
Business Promotion for Latin American clients
As a senior manager of Business Promotion for LatAm corporates, manage a team of sector bankers in LACB/NY (Latin American Corporate Bank New York) and in-country bankers in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Peru. Be responsible for business promotion to all LACB clients.
Work together with regional LACB teams on individual transactions, providing defined support from LACB/NY
• Lead the process of deal screening,
• Lead the discussion with credit together with PM team,
• Provide product coordination, sector expertise, preparation of presentation material to clients
Strategic Planning
Strategy planning for creating a client strategy for LatAm corporate businesses and proactively involved in strategic discussions related to LatAm corporate
businesses in the region.
• Strategy of LatAm Corporate business as a whole
• Mid-term business plan
• Sector strategy
• Development of new business areas
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Regional Head for LatAm, GMs of each regional office, Office of Regional Head (ORH), product officers, credit divisions.
Planning of budget, and reporting/analyzing of actual results/forecasting
• Responsible for creating a budget for LACB clients, working with relevant stakeholders, such as ORHL, each regional office.
• Responsible for reporting and analyzing actual results as well as forecasting financial results, together with Strategy/Planning team of LACB/NY, and planning team of regional office.
Manage team
• Responsible for managing a team of sector bankers and coverage officer
Qualifications
We require:
• An Bachelor's degree or other relevant degree is strongly preferred
• A minimum 15 years of managerial-level experience in commercial/investment banking for Latin America Corporates
◦ Prior work experience based in Latin America is a decisive asset
• Strong business and financial acumen and be comfortable dealing with complex financial analyses
• Fluency in English and Spanish. Portuguese fluency is strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate, through both written and verbal means, to a broad variety of audiences
• Ability to build consensus in a working group and successfully coordinate and manage staff in local and remote locations
• Ability to interact with senior leaders at both the business units and in the corporate office
