Director, Financial Institutions Solutions
Advisors Business Banking Vertical - Director
• The Advisors Vertical organization is the focal point for innovation and responsible for developing standardized solutions addressing client needs from Mastercard assets
• The Business Banking Vertical team helps financial institutions be more competitive in the Small Business segment by understanding it’s most critical issues and creating and designing solutions to address them
• This includes managing the formation of the business concept, shaping the business construct, evaluating partners, developing the business case - through to approvals, go-to-market rollout and on-going operations

Role
The Business Banking Vertical Director will:
• Architect compelling and scalable new solutions for Financial Institutions to serve Small Businesses beyond cards
• Articulate business opportunity statements and shepherd concepts through the design, review, and approvals process. Gain approval from senior management.
• Manage new business opportunities end to end, including: opportunity pipeline, project staffing, timelines, status reporting, approvals, and launch plan. Where appropriate, continue leadership role with on-going business operation.
• Support Mastercard Advisors sales process and product delivery engagements with subject matter expertise in order to drive revenue and remain current with customer needs
• Disseminate insights on Small Business trends, issues and opportunities

• Expertise on small business services and products
• Expertise on financial/banking services
• Proven analytical skills. Ability to frame problems and solutions
• Proven track record of launching new products/solutions. Understanding of information platform technologies and architecture a plus
• Experience creating partnerships, including negotiating agreements and developing contract language with partners and vendors
• Experience articulating strategic opportunities and gaining approval from C-level management
• Sales experience, including large, complex deals involving technology and/or information analytics
• MBA a plus
