KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Security Portfolio Management, Client Inquiry and Awareness to join our KPMG Technology Organization.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement and maintain an innovative information security awareness program based on industry best practices; ensure security awareness program aligns with firm policies, standards and procedures and engages every firm member to drive long term culture change
• Establish and manage security awareness channels, i.e., digital communications, social media/print media, and live events to maximize security awareness outcomes; create KPIs and metrics framework to effectively measure awareness program's impact and success and present leadership progress updates and reporting
• Key point of contact for Engagement Partners, KPMG clients and their C-suite representatives for IT and Security control inquiries during RFI, RFP and contractual agreements; provide leadership direction during client meetings, respond to ad-hoc requests, client questionnaires, and create system vulnerability messaging to clients and coordinate client standard responses
• Provide input and support efforts for client contractual negotiations, MSAs, SOWs and in setting expectations, business requirements and addressing issues
• Partner with Information Management Office, Office of General Counsel, Firmwide Physical Security , et al. for ongoing Client Security and Awareness briefings
• Provide oversight of Security Project Portfolio ensuring successful execution of project deliverables within scope, schedule and cost; provide support for security resource capacity planning, prioritization, portfolio balancing and alignment; drive budget forecast and financial planning
Qualifications:
• Minimum ten years experience in the relevant business background with knowledge in security practices, leadership, business processes and operations
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; Master’s degree from an accredited college/university preferred; security certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CIPP, CGEIT or ITIL
• Experience in leading security function, project management programs; interactions with and support of clients; risk management within a large IT organization
• Experience in designing and implementing various programs, including governance, frameworks, processes, tools, scorecards and dashboards, under aggressive deadlines and with competing priorities; demonstrated knowledge of industry authoritative sources, i.e., COBIT, NIST, ISO standards; project management experience with the aptitude to plan, manage and maintain complex enterprise-wide programs
• Ability to lead senior management through change, including gaining positive engagement of senior executives, when appropriate. Proficient with business process, operations, and metric definition best practices; adept at maintaining clear and frequent communications with key internal and executive stakeholders
• Must present with strong verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work; ability to foster the development of high performance teams; capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization; must be able to set and execute strategic initiatives for team; creative thinker with ability to identify innovative business solutions; ability to develop strategic organization and resource plans, defining next generation business and leadership needs
