Director of Reporting / Deputy of FP&A

The Financial Planning & Analysis group at OneMain Financial is responsible for supporting the business and financial strategy of the firm. This includes strategic analysis of results, annual and multi-year strategic forecasts, product and business performance, pricing strategies, operational infrastructure, and expense control.
The Director of Reporting / Deputy of FP&A supports the Company’s forecasting and analytical processes, and supports the business operations and strategic growth initiatives of the Company. Director of Reporting / Deputy of FP&A will work closely with senior management to facilitate effective, data-driven decision making and drive insight into the business with analytics that support the long-term strategic direction of the company. Key activities will include managing and supporting company-wide strategic and operational planning and forecasting processes, key initiative modeling and driving business results.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis, Monthly and Quarterly Reporting
• Participate in month end close process and coordinate monthly results package and quarterly outlooks for the Board Meetings and Earnings calls
• Deliver high-quality analysis and value-added insight to senior management by analyzing current and past trends in key performance areas such as loan production, delinquency, credit losses, expenses and insurance results
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management
• Ad-hoc reporting, analysis and business support
Annual and Multi-year Strategic Forecasts
• Support the development of the annual budget and multi-year strategic plan and ensure that the business and financial plans are in place to deliver on mid/long term targets, company objectives and initiatives, and strategy
• Support and participate in the consolidated budget presentation to senior management; articulate business environment and strategy, risks, and opportunities in the context of a formal budget presentation
• Development and maintain financial models that support current and long term strategic initiatives and decisions, including business case development for new initiatives, M&A and integration activities
People Management/Other
• Maintain relationships with business partners to ensure quality deliverables and proper information flow are achieved and maintained
• Develop and enhance competitive intelligence, customer intelligence, geographic and economic data and technology trends that are impacting the business
• Recruit, hire and direct a high performing professional staff to manage individual functions

Requirements
The Minimum Qualifications for this position are:
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
• Minimum 10 years relevant finance and accounting experience
• Superior management and leadership skills are required
• Highly developed analytical and presentation capabilities
• Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with Senior Management and all levels of staff
• Strong people management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
• Essbase, Hyperion and Peoplesoft skills are desired
