Position Overview

As a Portfolio Director within PNC's Strategic Services organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh or elsewhere in the PNC footprint.
As a Technology Portfolio Director you will lead complex, multidisciplinary programs that will transform our business operations. The ideal candidate has a track record for delivering large-scale, high-complexity technical projects on time, on budget, and fit to specification. Immediate need for a Director who has a deep understanding and scaling of DevOps process and tooling. We need a passionate individual who can scale across roles and is flexible to work with a diverse team.
Responsibilities:
• Liaison with Client stakeholders to develop DevOps transformation strategy
• Advise program sponsors/clients on DevOps solutions
• Lead sessions on evaluating existing DevOps landscape or lack thereof
• Lead sessions to build consensus on gaps, solution options, target operating model, and recommendations
• Lead sessions to assess the business impact of current limitations
• Analyze existing standards to identify gaps and remedies
• Evaluate gaps in related to DevOps best practices
Job Profile
• Oversees the facilitation and coordination of all assigned portfolios. No requirement for project size.
• Facilitates the development and approval process for strategic initiative governance for assigned portfolios.
• Oversees the development and review of analysis and reporting information related to key strategic portfolio milestones.
• Oversight and accountability for the portfolio budget while working to ensure success of the portfolio.
• Works across multi-disciplinary functions and oversees vender relationships to ensure success of the portfolio.

• Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve the problems in the best interest of the business.
Required Education and Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
