Job Summary:
The Wealth Strategist I is responsible for preparing comprehensive and modular wealth Major Responsibilities: Works with Senior Wealth Strategist I to: a) Organize and assess quantitative information and documents b) Identify and evaluate financial scenarios and alternatives c) Develop and present written recommendations d) Assist in the implementation and monitoring of strategies in conjunction with internal wealth specialists and external professionals. Prepares sophisticated financial modeling and develops innovative strategies in the areas of tax planning, equity risk management, investment planning, insurance planning, debt management, estate and charitable planning, business succession planning, and retirement planning. Tasks include the following: Participate in business development and client servicing calls with Senior Wealth Strategist II and internal relationship managers. Develop letters of engagements that define the scope, timeline, and deliverables of custom wealth plans. Liaison with HighMark Capital Management portfolio managers in developing and presenting detailed investment planning analysis.
Qualifications
Additional Information:
5 -10 years of sophisticated wealth planning experience required. Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Finance or related field and CFP designation required. Graduate degree and/or law degree or other designations such as CFA, ChFC, or CLU preferred. Work experience with WealthTec, Naviplan or comparable planning programs required. Ability to perform under tight deadlines and deliver results. Project management experience required. Must be detailed oriented with creative problem solving abilities, good interpersonal skills, and be a team player. High level of proficiency with MS Excel, Powerpoint, and Word.
