Description
We are looking for an experienced sales and service executive with passion for helping customers achieve their life goals. The selected candidate will be responsible for the initial build and ongoing sales and service teams in support of a new venture. A demonstrated ability to establish business activities that quickly and consistently deliver exceptional experiences to customers in sales and service will be key. Capability to drive rapid and sustainable growth for the new organization will also be a core requirement.
The focus of the team will be to provide needs-centric financial advice, insurance and income-based solutions via a Broker/Dealer chassis.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with ability to attract and retain talent, define team structures, define strategy and execute to it. This leader will establish and motivate a fast-paced, results-oriented team that is technology enabled, with the stability that comes from a large company and yet the possibilities and potential of a startup. You will work hard, learn quickly, and feel a great sense of satisfaction.
You will report to Prudential’s VP Advisory, Customer Engagement. You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best experience for customers with every interaction.
Responsibilities include:
• Educate potential and current customers on insurance and income product offerings, closing on sales of Prudential-offered investment products, based on the suitability of such products to the customer’s profile and goals.
• Addressing existing customer inquiries regarding their insurance product selections and provide relevant advice on their online financial plan, as needed.
• Build a strong team of motivated, high performing Broker/Dealer Representatives.
• Set high performance standards for team and monitor progress continually.
• Understanding and driving the core business strategy, including revenue and cost drivers, customer engagement metrics, budget management, talent management, and end-to-end sales and service delivery.
• Cultural ambassador for a fast paced, technology-enabled, customer-centric financial services work environment.
• Strategic communication, willingness to learn and intelligent risk taking.
• Establishing goals and driving inbound and outbound sales.
• Contribute towards delivery, planning, metrics-driven management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Operations or equivalent; MBA preferred
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in financial services sales, service and/or call centers
• Deep financial product knowledge and experience.
• Series 7, 63 and Insurance Licenses required
• Excellent time management / organizational and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven coaching and sales skills development experience.
• Strong leadership skills in building, motivating, and operating a large and diverse team.
• Strong strategic skills with ability to go deep into the details as warranted. Both a planner and a doer.
