Description
The Financial Advisor at First Tennessee Bank provides sales activities for promoting and selling packaged investment products or individual securities to customers and prospects within assigned territories.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Calls prospects to generate appointment activity within assigned territory. Meets with and advises customers or prospects concerning suitable investments. Works in cooperation with other relationship managers or sales people to identify and refer prospects which result in the establishment of personal trust, life insurance, financial planning, or other financial service relationships.
Conducts annual reviews, evaluate changes in financial objectives, and recommends actions which result in retention, strengthening, and growth of the client's relationship. Assists in strengthening of the platform licensing initiative through the development of licensed financial center employees.
Develops effective presentations for investor audiences, including quarterly earnings releases, conference calls, and investor conferences with regards to financial, peer, and/or industry information and trends.
Generates periodic reports on investor activity for senior management and the Board of Directors, analyzing financial trends relative to peer groups, and assisting business partners in performing benchmarking studies
Requirements
The position requires a Bachelors, Masters degree preferred
2-4 years of experience required, 4-6 years preferred
Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills. Proficient with applicable computer software. Good written and oral communication skills. Good organizational and customer service skills.
