Responsibilities:
The Securities Services OPC Manager will work extensively with the Securities Services Business Lines to develop, enhance and monitor the control framework. The OPC will be responsible for:
• Manage the development and maintenance of business line Risk map and control plan
• Review the adequacy and completeness of the business line Policies and Procedures
• Ensure that controls, Key Monitoring Points and key risk indicators are in place on the main risks
• Help drive the investigation, assessment and monitoring of historical incidents, including ensuring appropriate action plans are developed and implemented
• Present incidents and their action plans, including control results to the Internal Control Committee
• Challenge the existing process methodology and identify areas of improvements
• Support identification, quantification and maintenance of Potential Incidents
• Help identify any new risk incurred by new products, new processes or significant organizational changes and formalize this control in an OPC risk analysis with a conclusion on the validation of TAC NAC, from Risk ORC viewpoint.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the control set up and of the indicator ratings
The OPC team member will work in conjunction with the Head of OPC to also oversee aspects of the Permanent Control set-up including:
• Connect the risks and controls identified through operational, Conduct, Compliance, and Financial RCSAs
• Implementation of any OPC related projects within Securities Services business lines
• Track and monitor the implementation and resolution of Internal and External Audit & Compliance recommendations / requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum:
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting) required; MBA / CFA / CPA would be a plus
• Strong written and oral communication skills with a strong attention to detail
• Independently driven and ability to operate autonomously
• Ability to easily engage stakeholders, and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional inter-personal skills and in particular ability to create and maintain constructive professional interactions with senior management and colleagues
• Strong problem solving skills

• Outstanding organizational skills
Preferred:
• Preferred 4 - 7 years of experience in Financial Services with a background in Audit, Advisory Services, Operational Risk or Controls.
• Understanding of the Securities Services Operations is a plus
