Director, Digital Payments Product Management
Overview
Mastercard’s digital payments strategy is accelerating the transition from card payments to digital payments, using mobile phones and other devices to support issuers, merchants, and wallet providers. As part of that strategy, Masterpass - Mastercard’s global digital payment solution allows consumers to check out with a digital wallet online, in-store with a tap, or from their favorite merchant app. Consumers are expanding their range of digital activity across channels/devices every day, and you can be a key contributor in driving this evolution.
The Digital Payments Strategy and Product Management team leads this effort by:
• Setting the Masterpass and Mastercard Digital Enablement Service product strategy and creating compelling product offerings to meet the needs of the various customer segments
• Delivering increased security and convenience to consumers by managing the tokenization of Mastercard accounts through the application of rules, standards and services for issuers seeking to use third party token service providers
• Fostering consistency within the industry by overseeing the strategy for the adoption of token-related standards developed through EMVCo
The role is immediately responsible for the product management of several digital payment products/initiatives with internal partners, customers and service providers.

Role
• Direct Mastercard’s adoption of the new industry initiatives be developing the product strategy and ongoing management of the product
• In partnership with the Global ATM team, drive Mastercard’s effort to bring innovative digital solutions to the ATM channel. Enabling tokenized ATM payments at contactless terminals and cash access through new, compelling offerings to issuers.
All About You
• The successful candidate will maintain a strong business acumen, excellent product management capabilities and an ability to work with technical detail.
• Proven experience in defining product strategy for delivering digital payment services on payment networks that enable tokenized, wallet initiated, mobile or ecommerce type transactions.
• Strong leadership skills in working with multi-disciplinary teams of both a technical and business nature. Achieves buy-in from relevant internal stakeholders and influences cross-functional teams to achieve deliverables.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel to attend meetings with Customers, or others as business may require.
Knowledge Required:
• Payment wallets and/or tokenization
• Digital payments on credit and debit accounts
• Knowledge of network switching, ATM channel and/or transaction processing
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree required, Advanced degree or MBA a definite plus
