Business Overview:
The Transaction Securitization & Frameworks team is within RISK Global Markets, which is within the group RISK function.
The Risk manager covers the trading and non-conduit banking book activities originated by the Asset Finance & Securitization (AFS) team in Global Markets. The scope of activities includes the Leveraged Loan financing activities (CLO warehousing and portfolio financing), CLO trading, and ABS trading.
Responsibilities:
• Organizing and preparing analysis and minutes for credit committees, including new files, annual reviews, and amendments.
• Measure, monitor and report market risks for the ABS and CLO trading activities. Analyze large P&L events and quantify new risks. Participate in main position meetings with management.
• Independent evaluation of securitization risks, including challenging business assumptions, risk analysis, rating proposals, and capital inputs.
• Managing the annual review calendar, ensuring minimal past dues.
• Assist in defining the risk appetite for the AFS securitization activities in NY.
• Actively monitoring the securitization risks in Global Markets and reporting to management.
• Actively participating in Internal Audits and regulatory reviews for securitization in NY.
• Ensuring the securitization activities in NY are in compliance with global risk policies.
• Participating in risk due diligence meetings with clients
• Measure, monitor, and report market risks for the ABS and CLO trading activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree
• 7+ years’ of experience working in the Securitization Risk industry
• Self-motivated, passionate about Securitization Risk and innovative
• Experience with securitization structures and risk analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or similar advanced degree a plus.
• Working knowledge of Intex
