POSITION SUMMARY:
Ensure activities within Cash Management, Special Loans, ARMs, Default Cash Management and Default AP/Corporate Advance Control align with activities across all mortgage servicing functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Function as a subject matter expert in industry standards and practices and utilize that knowledge to develop and implement process improvements and efficiencies
◦ Initiate improvement projects, identify new ideas and delegate responsibility for identifying and developing new ideas to others
• Contribute technical/professional skills and specialist knowledge throughout the organization
• Develop departmental and functional strategies and structure that align with corporate objectives and monitor follow-through to implementation.
◦ Monitor the plan to ensure it is being carried out in a manner that assures objectives are met.
◦ Plan the operation and workflow for the Cash Management, Special Loans, ARMS, Default Cash Management and Default AP function to ensure objectives are met
◦ Review and assess the success of the plan, the allocation of the employees and resources and whether objectives were met
• Manage organizational risk and protect the assets of the organization; partner with Centralized Exam Response Team (CERT), Operational Control Group (OCG) and others to deliver timely and accurate responses to external inquiries; maintain all relevant policies and procedures and ensure all controls are followed
• Function as a “change-agent”, leading change initiatives within the organization
• Evaluate and interpret departmental/functional financial results and identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop effective reporting and executive communication, incorporating appropriate frequency and level of detail
• Identify and satisfy internal and external customer needs/demands
• Work with current vendors and potential vendors to constantly enhance the ways in which customers may remit payments; manage relationships with said vendors to ensure Service Level Agreements are defined and enforced
• Evaluate opportunities to derive fees from customers, clients, and vendors; set fee structures in a way which balance short term bottom line impact and customer loyalty; keep fee matrices and policies and procedures up to date

• Evaluate organizational effectiveness of the team within the Cash Management, Special Loans, ARMS, Default Cash Management and Default AP functions, identify gaps and implement development and succession planning initiatives
◦ Organize the team, the production of the work, training and resources needed to accomplish desired and required outcomes to meet objectives
◦ Provide employees with enough guidance, direction, leadership and support to ensure they are able to accomplish their objectives
◦ Allocate available resources appropriately
Requirements
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of ten (10) years of mortgage banking experience required
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership capacity is required
• Experience with mortgage cash management preferred

TRAINING / LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
• Must pass PHH Corporation’s Background Screening process prior to beginning employment. Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements, if applicable.
