KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director to join our Business Tax Services practice with a focus on Tax Technology.
Responsibilities:
• Work with clients to understand enterprise operational requirements for tax processes including documenting tax processes and organization, analyzing tax data/calculations/reports, and understanding technology environment and interfaces
• Lead team in identifying data and information requirements for ERP, Hyperion and/or Tax Data Warehouse implementations, configuration of off-the-shelf tax systems, test implementations, and training client personnel
• Apply financial reporting standards and tax technical guidance to processes and technology
• Drive business development and practice growth related to these tax services
• Lead multiple engagements while providing leadership to client service teams
• Build and manage client relationships across client enterprise groups to drive growth
Qualifications:
• Ten years combination of corporate tax and tax technology experience in an audit, tax, or advisory services firm, corporation, or law firm
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
• Licensed CPA, J.D., LLM, or certified in one or more technology applications such as Thomson, SAP, or Hyperion
• Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters including tax reporting and compliance experience; possess both tax and technology skills
• Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
• Excellent research and writing skills, and a demonstrated track record of business development
