Job Summary: This position is responsible for growing a Premier book of business and achieving high client retention rates by providing each client with valuable service offerings, and competitive investment performance by fulfilling the role of trusted advisor. Must be able to manage a large number of accounts and conduct complex client and partner presentations and meetings on the firm's investment strategy, account performance and new products. Also, responsible for promoting the core values, competitive position and profitable growth of HighMark.
Major Responsibilities:
40% Portfolio Management and Model Implementation:
• Manage individual, trust and model based accounts to ensure they are consistent with the client's established short and/or long-term investment policies while utilizing HighMark's investment philosophy.
• Must be able to construct a portfolio and develop investment policies that maximize portfolio performance consistent with the client's investment objectives and acceptable level of risk.
• his position is responsible for ensuring all the investment models supporting the Premier and Brokerage clients are kept current.
40% Client Service, Retention and Growth:
• Strong focus on managing client account retention to meet the company's annual growth objectives and to support our multiple distribution team members.
• Develop new and deepen existing client and partner relationships with Premier Trust Officers, Priority Relationship Advisors and SFAs to support new business development, relationship management, and marketing in order to support investment needs and expand our collaborative culture.
• Promote the role of trusted advisor and be able to resolve complex client account issues and provide our clients an extraordinary experience.
10% Business Operations:
• This position has operational and administrative duties required to support model based products.
10% Risk Management:
• Actively ensure compliance with the Bank's Code of Ethics, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures.
• Participate in any required corporate and business line training in these areas. Understand and follow all operating procedures and internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position.
• Responsibility for all fiduciary and SEC compliance responsibilities within their accounts.
Qualifications
Additional Information:
• Over 5 years of investment experience is required.
• Strong insight and knowledge of finance, economics and general business.
• Ability to effectively present investment strategies to clients and partners.
• Demonstrated ability to work toward team objectives with creativity, innovation, and initiative.
• An ability to work independently and a willingness to adapt under time sensitive deadlines are necessary.
• A master's degree and/or CFA are preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of trust is beneficial.
