In this role you will be working with SPS (Stock Plan Services) Managing Directors to present our analytics capability to clients and generate new Fee For Service projects. In addition to ‘selling’ new projects, you will have to independently define the scope of the project, identify and extract the data needed for the project, develop the analyses and present the findings to clients as needed.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent with 10 to 12+ years of experience or Master's degree with 8 to 10+ years of experience
• Client interaction and knowledge of the stock plan business is preferred but not mandatory
• 5+ years in a data analysis role with experience in working with databases such as Teradata, Oracle, IBM DB2 etc., using SQL or SQL based applications
• 5+ years’ experience in using statistical tools such as SPSS, SAS etc.
• 3+ years in working with data visualization applications like Tableau and new analytics tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI, etc.
• Expertise in working closely with business and technology partners to establish direction for scaling the analytics
• Experience with big data analytics and statistical modelling is a definite plus
• The Purpose of Your Role
SPS is embarking on a new journey where client analytics based on record-kept data is being served up as a Fee For Service offering. You will need to understand the role equity compensation plays in our clients’ compensation framework and leverage this understanding to develop analyses that will help clients benchmark their data against other peers on the SPS platform. You will also develop analyses to identify key participant behavior patterns and share these with clients to help them make smarter decisions on their equity plans. In addition, you will explore how the analytic insights can be scaled to meet the needs of other clients and leveraged by SPS Marketing as ‘Thought Leadership’

• Proven track record of strategic thinking and the ability to communicate with clients and internal stakeholders
• Ability to understand requirements from client and client facing teams, translate these to analytic projects
• Work independently to gather data, analyze the information to uncover key insights, summarize findings and share with clients and SPS MDs
• Collaborative, comfortable in working with analytics team across different business groups and geographies
