Job Summary:
As a member of the Commercial Card leadership team, this role is directly responsible for managing Commercial Card implementation and client servicing and is an integral part to help shape the direction and success of MUFG Union Bank’s Commercial Card program.
Major Responsibilities:
This role is directly responsible for leading a team that includes Card Implementation Managers, Card Technology Specialists and Card Program Consultants. Collaborates with Commercial Card leadership team to achieve divisional goals, improve the client experience, and better position the group for success all while growing market share. Manage the team and critical partnerships, assign appropriate goals and responsibilities and hold individuals accountable for achieving expectations. Leverage internal resources, third party partnerships, industry knowledge and personal experience to ensure direct reports are trained, coached and prepared to do their jobs and stay abreast of industry changes and best practices.
Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years Commercial Card experience Proven history of successfully managing remote-based direct reports
• Strong business acumen with experience identifying and implementing process efficiencies
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, work in a fast paced environment and make decisions quickly while demonstrating flexibility/adaptability/personal accountability. Familiarity with corporate ERP systems, purchase requisition systems, receiving and payables and general ledger accounting systems
• Superior consulting skills
• PC skills to include Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel 25-50%
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
