Responsibilities:
Oaktree’s Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Team, a sub-division of Trade Support is looking for an experienced CLO Analyst, to support its U.S., CLO platform.
Responsibilities include:
• Understanding Warehouse LSA (Loan and Security Agreements) and CLO Indentures along with the calculation of Collateral Quality, Coverage, and Concentration tests
• Creating and updating Excel-based models and waterfalls (based on new Warehouse/Indenture documents) to determine distributions to CLO investors
• Executing Excel/CDO Suite models daily to calculate CLO Concentration, Coverage, and Collateral Quality Tests
• Contributing to the structuring process during the creation of new CLOs or refinancing of existing CLOs
• Liaising with Trustees to reconcile data and produce monthly Trustee reports and quarterly Payment distribution reports for CLO investors
• Creating and Maintaining default and recovery rates for CLO platform
• Running hypothetical trades through Excel/CDO Suite-based models, and communicating results to the Investment Team and Compliance
• Organizing the approval process for Warehouse vehicles among Underwriting Banks, the Investment Team, and the Compliance Department
• Writing specifications to create/update reports used by the CLO platform
• Participating in special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
• 7-10 years of experience working at an Asset Management company or Trustee / Custodian in a reporting, middle office, compliance or analyst position
• Utilizing CDO Suite for Warehouse and CLO Compliance testing and monitoring
• Managing and manipulating large amounts of data in Excel
• Creating Excel-based models to measure various CLO, Collateral Quality, Coverage, and Concentration tests
• Comprehending and interpreting Legal documentation such as CLO Indentures, LSAs, and Offering Memorandums
• Working with Senior Secured Loans
• Extracting/querying information from databases
• Writing detailed specifications to build out technological enhancements related to data extraction and report creation, including testing and identifying errors within logic

Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
