Wealth Management Operations
Global Wealth Management Operations provides brokerage, investment and financial services to hundreds of thousands of individual investors. We apply our expertise in serving institutional clients to create new opportunities for people to achieve their personal financial goals. Morgan Stanley has one of the largest retail brokerage networks, with numerous worldwide representatives and retail locations. Our services are tailored to each client's investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Products include mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and alternative investments where appropriate, as well as banking, mortgages, insurance and annuities.
Business/Department Overview:
The Operations group is responsible for the identification and mitigation of Bank
risk related to the securities based lending product, and works with various internal
and external groups to ensure proper controls and reporting, including adherence
to Bank Credit Policy and regulations related to the product type.
Qualifications
Major Job Responsibilities:
Verify and supervise daily margin call, collateral, and regulatory reporting, by confirming proper adherence to standard operating and written supervisor procedures, upload and evidencing controls, and escalation protocols.
Coordinate aged or sensitive collateral shortfalls through to completion, by partnering with Bank Credit, Business Unit, and Field support teams.
Engage and develop staff through one-on-one coaching and constructive career feedback.
Coordinate project efforts by partnering with internal and external teams to provide top operational service and controls
Create and present material in various formats to senior management for regulatory, risk, metric volume, and team capacity insights.
