Department Profile
The Interest Rates Option and Non-Vanilla strategist team support London IR option trading desk by building pricing and risk models in the production system. In addition, the team also provide daily support desk in day-to-day pricing requests and risk management issues. As a team, strats also work with VRG, MRD on the regulatory issues.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and maintain pricing and risk models for IR option and Non-Vanilla products. Improve trading desk risk management in collaboration with traders, core analytics, QA and IT teams.
Qualifications
Skills required (essential)
• Strong quantitative skills in probability, numeric method
• Good understanding of Risk Neutral pricing framework
• Experience of interest rates products: swap, swaption, Bermudan
• Experience of front office work environment. Can work under pressure.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with C++ or Scala programming language
Skills preferred
• Experience in other market and products: FX, credit or Equity
