Job Summary & Responsibilities
The strategic technology initiatives team within Global Compliance’s Regulatory Practice Group (“RPG”) is responsible for defining the strategy for various regulatory applications that are deployed throughout Goldman Sachs. Specifically, these applications facilitate firm processes associated with rule and regulation change management, regulatory exams, audits and inquiries, risk assessments and issue management. Team members will contribute to the design of RPG’s regulatory technology strategy, partner with other members of RPG to understand and streamline business processes that impact application workflow, and liaise with Technology and business analysts to execute on defined strategy.
Basic Qualifications
• 8+ years relevant experience working with regulatory technology at a financial institution, regulatory agency or management consulting firm
• General understanding of the current regulatory environment
• Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle concepts
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to build consensus and drive change
• Confidence in expressing a point of view with senior management
• Ability to forge strong relationships with colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
