We are looking for a senior and experienced professional who will be responsible for developing SS&C’s Real Assets servicing platform focusing on Real Estate, Infrastructure and other hard asset investment managers and investors. The role will report to the global head of the Real Assets division.
Responsibilities Include:
• Providing management support and analysis to optimize and build a global operating model within the Real Assets business, including staffing and technology plans to enable the business to grow.
• Reviewing the key platform choices, make recommendations for consolidation and implement the operating model
• Assisting in effectively managing the P&L, providing strategic support to finance and other business units and helping to coordinate implementation of technology and product solutions
• Helping develop new business for SS&C through partnership with business development teams globally. Aiding the qualification of potential new business, solution design, proposal development and pricing
• Building relationships with intermediaries and other referral sources
• Working with marketing on the branding of the business and develop marketing materials
• Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and their potential impact on SS&C
• Managing relationships with key internal and external client contacts where applicable to ensure expectations are met to drive client satisfaction
• Providing support for and effectively communicate broad overall company initiatives and goals to managers and staff within span of control
• Assisting with developing budgets and staffing projections. Plus complete staffing proposals for newly awarded business
• Participating in new business process including review of proposals, prospect presentations, staffing allocations, etc.
• Providing leadership in areas outside of the division
• Representing the organization internally and externally as needed.
• Product Management for key initiatives to support a global model and drive increases in efficiencies and controls.
• Working alongside Information Technology group to implement product/service solutions
• Leading special projects, including financial modeling, new product development, new business pricing, geographical expansion and integration activities
Skill and Knowledge Desired:
• Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
• Big Four CPA with 15+ years’ real estate or infrastructure experience
• 5+ years’ product experience within a ‘real assets’ or private equity role within a fund administration business
• Proven experience with closed-ended and open-ended real estate funds
• Ability to execute and drive results with cross functional teams and to work confidently and develop and maintain strong relationships with business development, finance, business partners and other groups
• Demonstrated problem solving skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Team player, self-starter and with proven managerial experience
• Ability to identify, define and execute process improvement opportunities
• Proven ability and flexibility to work independently, manage multiple priorities on a deadline basis, adapt quickly in handling multiple and evolving tasks as a result of new engagements and re-prioritized deadlines
• Capable of producing high quality and final work product and solutions under time pressure
• Domestic and international travel will be required
