Position Description
The Derivative Solutions Group is looking for a Vice President to join the team in London. They will be involved in originating and structuring fixed income derivative solutions for a European corporate clients.
The Banker will work with senior coverage bankers in the industry and product teams across IBD and GCM to generate new business ideas and execute transactions. The individual will be required to work independently on a range of multi-product, multi-industry based assignments and will be able to provide risk management advice to key Morgan Stanley clients
The individual will be required to be a project leader in the team, proactively developing and motivating Associates and Analysts, providing them with guidance on technical issues and providing constructive and timely feedback on their performance. The Banker will be required to manage multiple simultaneous projects, which will include managing resources effectively across teams and communicating effectively with senior and junior colleagues.
Qualifications
Skills Required
• Exhibits strong presentation skills and an ability to form effective client relationships
• Exhibits strong technical and analytical skills
• Experience in the preparation of Senior Management and Board presentations
• Top class undergraduate degree from leading universities
• Fluency in English
• A positive, highly motivated individual who exhibits strong leadership and management qualities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
• Strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to excellence
• Committed to delivery of highest quality work product; strong attention to detail
• Proactive; self motivated and goal oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Strong team player able to work effectively in a team environment
