Credit Suisse’s Global Markets IT department is responsible for the development and upkeep of all information technology systems within the investment banking division of the firm. Electronic Trading Technology (ETT) department is mandated to create and provide state of the art trading technology platform across Equities, Fixed Income, and FX.
The ETT team is seeking a senior hands-on developer to help establish the strategic trading platform used at Credit Suisse Investment Bank. The developer will be involved in the development of multi-asset electronic Execution Links (Exchange connectivity) platform serving different product lines in the bank.
The role is as an expert developer of the strategic Execution Links platform for Credit Suisse, spanning all the businesses including Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Listed Derivatives.
You should have experience in the Exchange or Client Connectivity domain in an Investment Bank, having worked on delivering solutions for mission critical software.
Responsibilities Include:
• Design and develop software that builds and improve strategic Execution Links platform.
• Provide coverage to all asset classes including Cash Equities, Listed Derivatives, Rates, Credit and FX
• Maintain and provide 3rd level support coverage for the platform.
• The benefits to the business and IT by ETT will accommodate future change and support growth in an increasingly cross asset financial environment. The platform will facilitate Credit Suisse’s ability to innovate in the financial markets.
You Offer
Required Qualifications:
• You have solid development experience in C++ and Linux.
• You have experience with Electronic trading platforms in Equities, Fixed Income or Foreign Exchange
• Experience in Multi-threaded programming and inter-thread communication and control.
• TCP/IP Programming
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with most of the following technologies:
• Working knowledge and experience in Client and/or Market Connectivity domain in software design and development.
• Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Shell scripts etc.
• Strong design and architecture concepts.
• C++ STL libraries
• Experience with tools such as Purify and Quantify
• Experience in usage of unit testing strategies like Unit Test++
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, shell script, perl, awk and similar utilities
