Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC seeks a Vice President, Market Risk Middle Office in New York, New York
Work within Morgan Stanley’s New York Market Risk Middle Office team. Cover a diverse range of responsibilities related to risk infrastructure across a number of asset classes. Will entail significant effort in initiatives related to regulatory priorities, including stress testing improvements, setup of routine data submissions, and engineering robust processes. Coordinate regulatory CCAR Stress Loss Risk Submissions. Develop infrastructure to support Firm-wide Market Risk Stress Testing. Maintain data quality relating to Market Risk processes. Ensure Market Risk’s compliance with BCBS239 (RDA) by tracking timelines, accuracy, and completeness of risk data. Participate in designing and setting up new business processes. Coordinate with technology groups on the development of risk systems and data standards. Renew framework for Market Risk data quality. Interact with a deployed team of risk professionals.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or closely related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years of experience as a Vice President or related occupation. Requires experience with financial regulations including Basel III and stress testing regulatory frameworks; business facing risk management and governance; financial products including cash, derivative, and secured financing financial products; stress testing; working with different business lines; technology project implementation including experience with the implementation of large scale technology projects primarily around automation of business process or data capture; IT concepts and applications including data architecture and management, data control and reconciliation, process automation, and lifecycle of system development; and IT user tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Requires experience preparing materials for presentation to senior management and regulators.
