Job Summary & Responsibilities
OUR IMPACT
The Franchise management team is seeking an Associate/VP to support senior FX/EM trading and sales management in EMEA. The ideal candidate should have a quantitative/technical background, an interest in pursuing a career focused in strategy and financial analysis, and the drive to partner with senior stakeholders to positively disrupt status quo. We develop intuitive and relevant analytics to optimize business leaders’ decision making and, partnering with the Strats and Technology organisation, convert data-driven insights into action by embedding those analytics into simple front-line sales and trading workflow tools.
Franchise managers:
• Play a primary role in analyzing business performance.
• Work directly with leadership team to manage the business and focus on key initiatives (both idea generation and execution).
• Own expense management initiatives and the cost monitoring process.
• Drive business initiatives, senior management presentations, regulatory requests and responses to market events.
• Assist with the annual business review process.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Quantitative background including an understanding of probability and statistics
• Interest and desire to learn about financial markets
• Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills and ability to interact with global stakeholders and senior management effectively
• Ability to solve problems and explain the ideas that underlie them
• Good understanding of securities business and FICC products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• BS/MS in a computational field – Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science
• Programming background in compiled or scripting languages (C/C++, Python, Java, etc.)
• Experience in data science, advanced statistics
• Familiarity with statistical computing languages or packages (R, numpy/scikit-learn, Matlab)
