Financial Planning (TDW FP) is a fast paced and growing advice channel in TD Wealth. With over 700 Financial Planners (FP’s) across the country, the FP’s are responsible for increasing the financial planning market share in their assigned area. By providing a customized and comprehensive financial plan to every client, TD Wealth FP’s deliver a unique and differentiated client experience.

Job Description
Reporting to the SVP of TD Wealth Financial Planning, the AVP & Regional Head is responsible for leading a team of Senior Regional Managers and Financial Planners to implement growth and sales strategies, with a focus on increasing Financial Planning market share.
This role is responsible for Financial Planning’s Pacific Region and aligns with the Western Ontario Region in TDCT Branch Banking.
Job Requirements
Leading a team of Senior Regional Managers and FP’s, the AVP & Regional Head will:
• Create, recommend and implement business development plans that align with the TD Wealth FP strategy and overall Wealth Advice strategy, to grow and develop the business within an assigned area.
• Establish and achieve regional business objectives to support national goals.
• Develop and lead a team of high quality Senior Regional Managers by recruiting, training and coaching team members.
• Lead and apply sales management best practices.
• Support and recognize Senior Regional Managers in their personal and professional development.
• Lead and ensure FPs promote a positive client experience at every client interaction.
Ensure Senior Regional Mangers and FP’s understand and adhere to the appropriate operating policies, procedures and controls.
• Establish a strong and productive relationship with TDCT, Wealth and other business partners to deliver an exceptional client experience, maximize referral business and drive results.
• Actively raise the profile of FP within the community by leading and participating in community and client events.
• Lead/participate in national projects as required.
Additional Information
Education/Accreditations:
University or post-graduate degree
• Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
• Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH)
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) considered an asset

• Proven sales management & leadership experience.
• Results driven, highly motivated individual with a track record of taking on new challenges and delivering superior results.

• Outstanding people management, leadership and coaching skills.
• Ability to build for the future by attracting and developing the very best people.
• Strong communicator, with excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Strong relationship management skills, the ability to impact and influence.
• Solid understanding of TDCT and Wealth businesses is an asset.
