HR Operations Systems Lead Function
The HR Risk, Regulatory and Governance function is responsible for oversight of three primary areas: HR Policy, HR Risk, and HR Regulatory Initiatives. The function oversees the design and development of policies and procedures that ensure Asia’s compliance with HR related regulatory accountabilities. The function supports the implementation of these processes and initiatives by working in partnership with the appropriate subject matter experts within each HR functional group. The function monitors and reports on the effectiveness of HR policies, processes and procedures, and assesses potential risk. It also makes recommendations to mitigate risk and ensure ongoing compliance with the changing regulatory environment.
Primary Responsibilities
The Risk Manager will report to Asia HR COO/CRO. The principle role of the HR Risk Manager is to ensure that appropriate HR risk strategies, policies and procedures are developed, implemented and subject to on-going review. This is achieved by partnering with all HR functional SMEs, global HR risk counterparts, Infrastructure Groups and Control functions.
Specific Responsibilities include:
• Support risk management programs across HR including Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Supplier Risk, Information Security and Business Continuity Planning
• Manage HR related risk management remediation with particular focus on regulatory requirements and obligations
• Actively contribute to the development and day to day management of the HR Operational Risk agenda
• Carry out deep dives into risk incidents and analysis of thematic operational risks
• Develop and conduct risk validation and verification process for HR policy and procedures
• Build and maintains relationships with stakeholders in functions within global and local HR and across Asia
• Identify process issues through day to day work and/or audits and engage appropriate stakeholders to determine resolution
• Interpret client needs into appropriate recommendations for risk mitigation
• Work effectively with large amounts information, able to master details and provide incisive high level overviews
• Respond to and resolve urgent escalations along with appropriate SME and/or stakeholder
• Compile and create training materials, delivery of HR Risk training and demos where applicable
• Produce status reports and prepare materials for key meetings as required
Qualifications
Skills Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Proven risk management experience
• Proven ability to anticipate and identify risks and effective mitigation
• Familiarity with HR business processes and systems
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• The ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
• Successful candidate will have a roll up your sleeves and “can do” mindset
• Previous exposure and knowledge around HR, Compliance, Risk & Regulatory Frameworks is highly advantageous
