As a User Acceptance Test Lead within Merchant Finance, the incumbent will be tasked with the following deliverables:
• Identify the scope of testing required based upon the requirements for all projects, changes and issues
• Ensure the appropriate planning and alignment of all internal and vendor test resources to meet the test need
• Create the test plan and scenarios for all changes and distribute for approval
• Document validation necessary for sign off of change
• Assess the progress and effectiveness of the test effort and lead test calls updating stakeholders to those efforts
• Lead efforts to procure necessary sign offs within allotted timeframes
• Establish regular cadences with internal and external partners around pre and post deployment validation testing.
• Ensure the right validation team (subject matter experts, vendors, client partners) are correctly identified for every change.
• Lead subject matter experts through test cycles, ensure all requirements are included in the test plan.
• Ensure all stakeholders review and sign off on testing prior to providing overall test sign off.
• Properly track and document all phases of test cycle, defects, remediation efforts.
• Working closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers to make sure there are no ambiguities in requirements, expected deliverables or timeline.
• Regularly setting up and leading testing check-in meetings through the testing timeline.
• Leading production validation testing to enhance quality assurance
Qualifications
This role performs routine, moderately complex analytical research and review of data and/or documentation which may include customer data. The incumbent will need to analyze this data in order to identify trends and/or systemic issues. The incumbent may manage/participate in small projects requiring coordination with other teams and may perform other such duties such as trouble shooting operational issues.
Incumbent will also review, update and write departmental procedures and training guides, and assist manager with high level research and special projects as requested, and perform validation of peer work as necessary. The role requires excellent time management skills and ability to multi task in a very fast paced environment.
The incumbent must be a motivated, proactive self-starter who responds positively to requests and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The incumbent must also demonstrate problem solving, research and analytical abilities and be proficient in PC skills and MS office.
