Position Description Overview
To run a successful business, we must increase our activation rate and ensure our clients feel our value for them from the start. The team of Payment Advisors will confirm client accounts are set up correctly and that they have received everything needed to start processing quickly. Walk our new client through a first statement review; talk with them about the solutions for which they sign up and how it will benefit them and their business. Payments Advisors are the primary point-of-contact for our clients within the first 180 days of their relationship.
Job Responsibilities
• o Develop and manage relationships with newly boarded clients for approximately the first 180 days o Monitor and correct boarding errors associated with account information, pricing, MCCs, Legal tax information, equipment requirements o Ensure installation and activation of the client account and processing solution, working in concert with the AE and internal activation teams (to include appointment scheduling and follow up) o Educate clients on the value of products they have selected such as the Business Track online portal and Clover Security Plus o Build a relationship of trust with the client and present valuable products and services (ex- Clover Software Plans, Clover Security, Clover Cares) o Perform analysis and review with client regarding pricing structures, clearing levels, funding, batching and statements o Handle complex service issues that might occur within the first 180 days, including ACH rejects, collection balances, equipment shipping delays, TAX information

Job Requirements
• o Associate degree or equivalent work experience. o 2+ years of customer service experience. o Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Windows), multiple system navigation and solid math skills. o High degree of attention to detail. o Strong organizational, planning and problem solving skills. o Excellent communication, verbal, written and interpersonal skills. o Group dynamics/Team player. o Flexibility and adaptable to needs of client. o Connect business requirements and goals with work requirements. o Work autonomously with management guidance. o Sound decision skills. o Interpret and explain financial information. o Knowledge of payment processing; First Data’s products, platforms, systems, and operational areas preferred.
